Dr. Andrea M. Jones D.V.M.

I graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. After graduation, I relocated to Memphis, TN area where I practiced small animal medicine. In May of 2001 I returned to my hometown of Jackson, MS and Started Dogwood Animal Hospital and Pet Resort in Flowood MS. I have a strong interest in the human-animal bond and in geriatric medicine. I am an active member of the community and am Vice President of the local Veterinary association. I ran the Chicago Marathon in 2006. I am passionate about health and wellness and enjoy working out. I have one dog, Grace a 6 year old Beagle Mix and two guinea pigs Cuddles and Happy at home. I also have a wonderful, supportive family which include My husband and my 10 year old son.

Jordyn Jones Fitzhugh

Hey, I’m Jordyn and I have worked at Dogwood Animal Hospital for 6 years. I have enjoyed working here and getting to love on all the animals. I do a lot of different things here at Dogwood, so you could see me up front or in the room loving on your fur baby. I would have to say my favorite thing about working here would be educating the clients on anything they need help with and helping them better understand heartworm and flea prevention. I have 3 dogs of my own. JJ a 6-year-old Dachshund, Muffin a 6-year-old Blue Tick Hound, and Nugget an 8-week-old Pomeranian mix. I love all the clients here and their babies like my own. So, I know how important and special our fur babies are to us

John Skipper

Hi, I’m John Skipper and I have worked at Dogwood Animal Hospital for 3 years. I have enjoyed working here in the Kennel and playing and caring for all the animals that come through. When you board your babies or even drop them off for them to spend the day with us, you can guarantee that they will get the most excellent care from not only me but everyone here. We love them all like our own. I have 4 cats of my own, Durban, Garfield, Monster, and Jonesy, so I know how important it is to make sure everyone gets the most gentle care! I look forward to meeting new clients with their pets and giving them a tour of our facility and educating them on things they may be unsure about.

Tori Schallenberger-CVT

Tori lives with her husband, 2 labs and multiple cats in Puckett. She went to Hinds Community College and has been certified since 2014. Veterinary Medicine has been a passion of hers since she was a kid. She’s excited to meet y’all and love on your fur babies!
